Where can I do laundry in Essaouira?
Pressing Mogador is on rue El Azhar in Essaouira. We wash and fold laundry by the kilo (30 MAD per kg), and we dry clean clothes, traditional garments, rugs and household linen. Message us on WhatsApp or come to the shop.
Do you offer same-day laundry?
Most items can be done as express, for an extra charge. Whether same-day is possible depends on the items and the time you drop them off, so ask us on WhatsApp first. The ready date is always written on your ticket.
Can you clean a caftan, takchita or djellaba?
Yes. Traditional garments are priced per item (caftan: 80 MAD per item). When you drop them off, we check embroidery, beads and fragile parts, photograph them and tell you about any risk before we start.
Do you clean rugs?
Yes. Rugs are priced per square metre (40 MAD per m²). We measure the rug when you drop it off and give you the price in writing.
How much does it cost?
Our prices are on the home page, for example a shirt: 20 MAD per item and laundry by the kilo: 30 MAD per kg. The exact price is written on your ticket when you drop off, before any work starts.
How can I pay?
In cash at the shop, by bank transfer, or with a card payment link sent on WhatsApp. Businesses can also use a prepaid account.
How long does it take?
The ready date is written on your ticket when you drop off. Express service is available for an extra charge. For businesses, linen is ready within 24 or 48 hours.
How do I know my order is ready?
We send you a WhatsApp message. The ticket you receive also has a link to a page with your order, its status and the photos.
Do you photograph my items?
Yes, every item, when you drop it off. The photos are deleted 90 days after you collect your order.
Do you pick up and deliver?
No. You drop off and collect your items at the shop on rue El Azhar.
Do you work with riads and guest houses?
Yes. We offer contract prices, a prepaid account with 5% bonus credit and a monthly statement with photos. See the business page.
